I've been feeling like being crafty lately.
Luckily, August birthdays were coming up. So I got to make aprons for Katie and Chel. I had the hardest time picking out the fabric. You know that warm bubbly feeling you get in a shoe store? Fabric stores are like that too.
I wrapped them up with a cake mix...Then it was time for the watermelon cake I saw on a cover of a magazine. 4 tubs of frosting later...
Yummmm!This piece didn't make it to its full potential...
...on second thought, maybe it did...
I had tons of fun and learned a few new tricks. Now if i can just find time to clean up the mess!
